The CTE Board provides technical assistance and support for program improvement; new program design, state and federal grant compliance as well as high school transformation initiatives.

The Board works with secondary schools, businesses and career centers alike to develop rigorous and relevant programs that will help learners to identify and pursue their future career goals

. 

The Board’s mandate is to oversee career technical education, to work on the development and improvement of programs of study, to make it accessible to adult and high school students and to coordinate activities and programs with workforce development efforts.
